APPLICATIONS
Activated Carbon Media
Coconut shells and coal are both organic sources
of activated carbon. Carbon forms when an organic source is burned in an environment without oxygen. Prior to being used for water treatment, the organic mass must then be “activated.” The process of activation opens up the carbon’s massive number
of pores and further drives off unwanted molecules.
Sand Media Filters
Designed for filtering dirty water. These units are
self cleaning with the automatic backwash feature. They use a #30 silica sand as the filtration media.
Flow ranges from 100 GPM to 800 GPM
Construction Site Dewatering
Used on most construction sites due to accumulated water in trenches and excavations, places with inadequate slope, poor drainage and/or high water tables benefit from dewatering. In construction projects, this water should be removed to keep work as scheduled or to provide a safer workplace.
